Belly Update

Today is our first day of week 17!!!!  I don't know what Ralph thinks but it seems like the time is flying!  Peanut is growing rapidly and is about the size of a turnip and weighs about 5 ounces.  We have an appointment this Thursday to check the heartbeat, my bloodpressure, etc.  We were hoping to have an ultrasound to determine the gender then too but it seems there was miscommunication between my normal OBGYN and the doctor that I met with last time. My OBGYN wants to wait until 19-20 weeks so it looks like we'll be waiting a couple more weeks.  Hey...I'm just thankful to have a baby so I'm not going to complain about waiting a few more weeks to find out if Peanut is a he or she~ :)
