Well, Ralph courageously made the voyage with me last night to Babies R Us. We got there at 6:30pm and left at 9:00pm. I must say he was quite patient and very helpful throughout the process. I have been waiting for months to do our registry but didn't want to register until we found out if we were having a boy or girl. Ralph's favorite part of the entire process was getting to use the little scanner again. He thoroughly enjoyed that when we did our wedding registry. Anyways here is what we learned....
1. Babies R Us is overwhelming with all of the choices and options to choose from
2. Baby registering could easily be broken into two days
3. Baby stuff is expensive!
4. There are a lot of gadgets out there that seem so pointless but I guess someone has bought into them.
5. It is stressful picking out a car seat because you want to make sure that it is going to be the safest option for you baby.
6. There are entirely too many choices of bottles and pacifiers.
7. Registering can be a great date night if you choose to take your time and enjoy it.
8. Babies R Us makes a lot of money!
9. You will see more baby bumps in one location than anywhere else.
10. WE CAN'T WAIT TO BE PARENTS!!! :) Hurry up October!
So fun! Yes... it can be completely overwhelming, but hopefully you all found the items you wanted!
